5 Totally Realistic Instagram Accounts to Follow For Everyday Fashion Ideas
No matter how long you stare at the clothes in your closet, isn’t it hard to mentally piece together an acceptable outfit for the day, like, every day? Do what we do: gather some inspiration by following a few fashion and lifestyle bloggers on Instagram who regularly post totally doable outfit ideas.
Below are five of our absolute favorites. Their pics and captions will either give you ideas you can likely replicate using what you already own, or alert you to Insta-worthy deals and savings on everything from blouses to boat shoes. (And while you’re at it, make sure you follow @UwilaWarrior too.)
Start following:
1. @themotherchic
Lifestyle blogger and mom to four boys, Lindsey is a former elementary school teacher who now maintains her fantastic site The Mother Chic covering food, beauty, lifestyle, parenting and fashion advice. Among the many things we love about this Philly native, her way of spicing up a simple outfit with a snazzy necklace or classic heels is two thumbs up.
2. @livinginyellow
According to Erin’s site Living In Yellow, she “gets a natural high when talking all things cute outfits, travel, wine, good deals, cheese [lots and lots of cheese] restaurants, awkward moments and anything in between.” Who doesn’t? This fashionista is a master of versatility, something every modern woman-on-the-go could use in her closet. Check out this Insta, for example...
3. @twopeasinablog
The identical twin sisters behind Two Peas In A Blog—one in Columbus, OH, the other in Raleigh, NC—are both busy moms who understand the need to look put together... as easy as possible. And they do it very well! We like all of Katey and Betsy's Instas, but our favorites are their "Seven on Saturday" posts, where they share seven items all under a great price point.
4. @puttingmetogether
Audrey's bio on Putting Me Together starts off with: "I’m a 30-something year old who thinks Target is the most magical place on earth, is addicted to boba, and is hopelessly dependent on chocolate ice cream." Don't you love her already? Her goal for her posts is to make style accessible to everyone and covers tips on how to build a remixable wardrobe, ideas for wearing one piece different ways, and more.
5. @emilyshuman
Emily Shuman of Cupcakes and Cashmere = #stylegoals. Her posts give you good ideas on what to pair with what, and also make you realize that some items that don't look good on the hanger can actually look fabulous on you. She also posts what she wears to work each week, which is incredibly helpful for us working women.
